Jewish Care Services provides social activities, support and specialist services for older Jewish men and women and other older local people, within the Marjorie and Arnold Ziff Community Centre which also provides facilities and services for the wider Jewish and local community. Home visits can be carried out to older Jewish people in the community by a member of the social care team by prior arrangement.

Services

Kosher lunches (subsidised for those who meet the eligibility criteria) Monday – Friday in the restaurant and frozen meals-on-wheels available subject to a social work assessment‘The Hub’ provides a wide ranging programme of social activities and exercise sessions for older people, Access to Linkage ‘information store’ on issues relevant to older people Mondays 1-3 p.m. Attached to the Centre is supported housing for older people, provided by Leeds Jewish Housing Association
