Older People’s Lifelong Learning Network

The Older People’s Lifelong Learning Network began in January 2006 with the aim of linking up voluntary, community, colleges and representatives who are interested in Lifelong Learning for Older People. The Network believes that ‘it is never too soon, or too late for learning’ and that older learners contribute a great deal to their societies. The benefits of learning to older people are far-reaching, and should not be marginalised.

We meet every 3 months, to discuss issues in relation to Older People’s Lifelong Learning, to share knowledge and good practice and to widen participation in learning.

We will share information on this website, which will be updated regularly.

If you would like to become a member of the Older People’s Lifelong Learning Network, please contact Caroline Starkey
